This Blissful Life!

Finally, I’ve been able to work on Enzo’s 3rd birthday party invites! It’s 2 weeks before the party and honestly not much have been done. I have this back pain that’s been going for more than a week now. I dunno, stress maybe? But, from what!?

Oh, checklist! Checklist!

• Cake - still contacting Iyah for the cake.
• Souvenirs - ?
• Lootbags - still incomplete
• Balloons - ?
• Invitations - for printing & distribution; emailed to some friends already
• Photographer - ?
• Food/Beverage - reserved already

Anyway, last week I was in Divisoria with my best-friend and struggling with such a lot of people shopping around for the Christmas season (I think), to find some items for Enzo’s new theme- Batman. Didn’t know it’s gonna be such a stressful day. Imagine hopping from 1 mall to another to find Batman goodies that doesn’t seem to exist nowadays? Argghhh.. If I’ve enough budget, I’d settle for SM, you know.. I was even gonna change the theme just because of that! Oh well.. after hours and hours spent of looking around, we found some items and it was really great.. No! It was actually a relief.. So, I guess it’s still Batman!

At last! After playing with Adobe Photoshop, I’ve now a Do-It-Yourself CD Label for Enzo’s give aways. Well, we’ve decided to give out CDs on his birthday as a souvenir instead of the usual figurines. Not yet sure though what would be inside, but we were thinking about the Cars the Movie then additional stuff like wallpapers, games, etc..

After visiting Divisoria for farm friends related souvenirs and prizes, I then gave up and instantly changed Enzo’s theme for his 2nd birthday. If supposed I insisted on the old theme, I’ll probably be spending more than my allotted budget, which is not practical right now after what we’ve been through.

Anyway, changing the theme is not a big deal at all. This is somehow our 1st choice before that ended up 2nd. What’s the new theme???

Cars!

Yes, we changed it into cars! And by changing means changing the invitation, banner and shopping for cars the movie related stuff. And so.. here I am.. ready to share the new invitation I made for Enzo. Banner’s on the way. I just can’t figure out what would be it’s final output.

As I was browsing the net and trying to get more ideas on how should Enzo’s party would look like, I stumble upon some sites that are very inspiring and interesting that I want their ideas to be incorporated in the party.

First stop.. Balloons! Typical birthday party must have balloons but even if it is usual, I say having the kind of balloon like in the picture below would make a great decoration. Colors are great plus the farm friends made everything unique.

1 month to go and more things to consider! I haven’t been this busy and not been able to prepare the things needed for a party, especially for Enzo’s.

Anyway, Enzo’s party will be in the province of Malaybalay, Bukidnon. Since his last birthday party was here in Makati, we decided to do it in hubby’s province. At least he’ll have more time with hubby’s family & relatives.

Thinking it through, we decided to use Farm Friends as theme instead of Barney, which he likes and Cars, which we’ve chsen for him before. Barney seems a little gay. (No hard feelings folks! Just an opinion from me & hubby.) Though Enzo really love watching Barney on DVD. Anyway, Farm Friends it is.

For the invitation, I’ve 2 teasers but still undecided on what to use. Perhaps comments would help me?

Yipee! After hours spend in conceptualizing Enzo’s invitation, I was able to come up with something good. Well, it’s not that great like with other graphic artists, but I’m more satisfied than ever. Hey, love your own, right!?

Voila!

3 more months till Enzo’s 1st birthday and yet I’m already preparing for it. I want it to be special since this is his 1st birthday. Actually, I’m more excited than him!

I’m thinking of a spongebob theme since he likes yellow (or so I thought) plus he really looks good on a yellow shirt.

I’m thinking of doing it in Jollibee since he loves Jollibee so much. Whenever he hears the song “Jollibee Happy! Forever Happy!” he’s like smiling and kinda dancing on the beat.

Cake should also be themed and so as the souvenirs & the game prizes.

Oh well, got enough time to do it. I guess I’ll stick to the internet and use my creative talent *wink* to do the invites, banner layout, etc…
