Have you experienced a problem with your RS-MMC (memory card)? Say, you take it out of your mobile phone and decided to use a memory card reader to transfer some photos, mp3s, etc.. because you have no USB cable for your phone and then you get an error message that goes something like this: “The disk is write protected. Remove the write protection or use another card“?
Yeah, well unfortunately for me and to others who have experienced this, it’s actually irritating, especially if you didn’t set any password on it and if it was ok the last time you used it.
Ok, so I’ve tried a lot of things and researched everywhere just to make it work. And I’ve got a lot of inputs too on how to solve this problem..

I’ve been looking for the right laptop bag for a week now. I admit that it’s not just a bag that I’m looking for. Due to my limited budget, I am checking out a “cheap” laptop backpack. Ugh..
Well, I found some interesting bags over the internet. Some actually caught my attention even the sling bags.. They’re so cool & stylish!
I like these bags from Etsy. So girly! Hahaha!
These cute bags has clean lines, and the best part is you get to choose your own fabric and the bags are very reasonably priced. It allows you to carry your laptop/notebook computer safely and with style! No need for a second bag. Stiffer and more structured than our sleeves, this bag offers full protection and also a generous ZIPPER COMPARTMENT to hold computer accessories like AC adaptor, power cords, mouse and mouse pad.

This is so cheap! Very nice! But this isn’t for me. I’m planning to buy this for Diosa (Enzo’s yaya). She’s been with us almost a year already and she’s really thinking of buying this one for herself. I would like to give her this as a Christmas present.
Anyway, there are networking games also where everyone can participate and have a chance to win some gadgets. There’s an exhibit in the lobby. Some raffle draws and White Elephant Sale, where you can buy company products at a factory price. And then, there’s the U-Buy, where you can buy and sell your used gadgets to other employees.
Well, that’s it for our First IT Week!

Laptop Madness in my Head!
by
Lorelei on Oct.12, 2008, under Gadgets, blogging
QWERTY. QWERTY.
After 2 days of staying away from the computer, I finally gave up my pride and use it again.
Last time I checked, I said “I’m not going to use that computer anymore!”
Oh well, here I am right now..
Anyway.. I was canvassing a laptop for 2 days because I wanted to buy 1 for myself as my birthday gift. It’s been a while since I’ve some gadgets and since I’m into blogging now, I’m thinking of getting 1 so that I won’t have to share with this PC anymore.
Since the laptop isn’t just for blogging purposes, I intended to buy something really good. Something I could use for my 2 other unrelated jobs. Plus something that could really entertain me; however, the MSI specs is too low for what I wanted and then Neo has some bad reviews right now. My cousin who’s in charge in one of Columbia’s branches also confirmed this. Plus 1 more thing.. this isn’t a practical choice for me right now.. Remember? Surgery? Well..
For now, I guess I’ll just look for another brand like Acer, Dell or Toshiba and then I’ll wait till I’ve . enough money to spend..
