Spare Time + Beads = Possible Extra Income
by
Lorelei on Mar.07, 2009, under Do-It-Yourself, Extra Income, Fun and Entertainment, Personal, blogging
I am one of the many moms who happens to love working with beads and other crafts. Though, I am not that active for so long, I am a beader myself.
Way back on my HS days when I love to accessorized myself, I tend to make my own beaded jewelries. I am no expert compared to others but I was able to make the jewelries I envisioned. I used to make one for my friends too.
Anyway, just about 11 days ago, I decided to relive my past hobby — beading. Again, it’s just for my own personal accessories, which I can make during my spare time, up until I was advised by a friend to sell it anyways… … … * After minutes of realization * … … … “Why not? I think I can make my own and sell it out in the market, just like other beaders do.” It’s not gonna be easy but I think I can work it out, slowly.
So, what’s spare time + beads? A possible extra income for me! ![]()

Best Remedy For Fever
by
Lorelei on Jan.22, 2009, under !Enzo, Do-It-Yourself, Health Matters, Health and Personal Care, Personal, blogging
Because Enzo had a high fever for two days, I decided to do some research on what options do i have in lowering a high temperature. Of course, there are things which are very well known to us like taking medicines, drinking lots of water, plenty of rest and using cold towels as a fast-acting remedy to fever. But do you know that aside from TLC (tender loving and care).. Egg Whites by far is the best remedy in lowering a high temperature?

At last! After playing with Adobe Photoshop, I’ve now a Do-It-Yourself CD Label for Enzo’s give aways. Well, we’ve decided to give out CDs on his birthday as a souvenir instead of the usual figurines. Not yet sure though what would be inside, but we were thinking about the Cars the Movie then additional stuff like wallpapers, games, etc..
Anyway, here are the teasers..
Aren’t they cute? ![]()

by
Lorelei on Oct.11, 2008, under Do-It-Yourself, www
Ok, so in order to display your Entrecard drops in your blog or web page, you must have a FeedBurner account and your Entrecard URL.
No FeedBurner account? Not a problem. Just go to FeedBurner’s Site and create your own account.
For Entrecard account, just visit Entrecard’s Site and sign up!
If you have them both already, you may follow the simple steps I’ve provided below.
1. Log into your Entrecard Account and go to the DashBoard. Click on the Feed Icon at the top right side of your page.

2. Copy your Drop’s Inbox Feed’s URL.
3. Access your FeedBurner account and burn this as new feed.
4. When you have created this new feed, click on “My Feeds”, then click on the new Feed you’ve created.

5. Click on the “Publicize” tab on top of your screen, then click on the “Buzz Boost” that you’ll see at the left side of the screen to republish any feed as HTML. Make sure you activate this so that you can customize your feed.

At this point, you can now customize your feed. You can specify the feed’s title, no. of items to display, etc.
Now, copy the code and paste it in a page or post. You will now have a nice list of your droppers and their links.
I hope you like this tip and you’ll come back at my site again.

Enzo’s New Birthday Theme
by
Lorelei on Oct.08, 2008, under !Enzo, Do-It-Yourself, Personal
After visiting Divisoria for farm friends related souvenirs and prizes, I then gave up and instantly changed Enzo’s theme for his 2nd birthday. If supposed I insisted on the old theme, I’ll probably be spending more than my allotted budget, which is not practical right now after what we’ve been through.
Anyway, changing the theme is not a big deal at all. This is somehow our 1st choice before that ended up 2nd.
What’s the new theme???
Cars!
Yes, we changed it into cars!
And by changing means changing the invitation, banner and shopping for cars the movie related stuff. And so.. here I am.. ready to share the new invitation I made for Enzo. Banner’s on the way. I just can’t figure out what would be it’s final output.
Well, feel free to comment on the invite. ![]()

Preparing for Enzo’s 2nd Birthday Party
by
Lorelei on Oct.01, 2008, under !Enzo, Do-It-Yourself, Personal
1 month to go and more things to consider! I haven’t been this busy and not been able to prepare the things needed for a party, especially for Enzo’s.
Anyway, Enzo’s party will be in the province of Malaybalay, Bukidnon. Since his last birthday party was here in Makati, we decided to do it in hubby’s province. At least he’ll have more time with hubby’s family & relatives.
Thinking it through, we decided to use Farm Friends as theme instead of Barney, which he likes and Cars, which we’ve chsen for him before. Barney seems a little gay. (No hard feelings folks! Just an opinion from me & hubby.) Though Enzo really love watching Barney on DVD. Anyway, Farm Friends it is.
For the invitation, I’ve 2 teasers but still undecided on what to use. Perhaps comments would help me?
Enzo’s 1st Birthday Invitation!

Yipee! After hours spend in conceptualizing Enzo’s invitation, I was able to come up with something good. Well, it’s not that great like with other graphic artists, but I’m more satisfied than ever. Hey, love your own, right!?
Voila!

Preparing for Enzo’s Baptismal
by
Lorelei on Dec.12, 2006, under !Enzo, Do-It-Yourself, Personal
It’s been so long now since the last time I made an entry here. I’m a new mom and so trying all my best to be a good one. After thinking it through, we decided to schedule Enzo’s baptismal on Dec. 24, 2006. And since we’re temporarily staying at my parents house while my mom’s still around, we also decided to do it in the near parish. Family, relatives and friends can at the same time spend their Christmas Eve at the house if they want to.
A lot of things to consider but I was able to work with the invitation first. No theme. Nothing fancy. But since I want the guess to see some of Enzo’s pics, I’ve arranged them in the invitation itself.
As for the souvernirs, I’m into DIY right now. At least 50 pcs. will be ok. A baby in a glass tube with some cotton inside, glitters, etc…
We’ve also decided to just rent the Village East Club House so that we don’t need to prepare the food in the house. Plus the house isn’t that big and having a caterer will make it more crowded. Got Avengoza Catering near the village. I believe they’re not that long in the business but agreeing with the budget, taste of food, and actual setup made me decide immediately.
Some photos will be uploaded in Enzo’s page after the baptismal. Please find time to enjoy the pictures. Comments are welcome too.
