Help Others By Giving Them Hope

I misunderstood myself when I said I needed to help others in a way wherein cash is necessary. It was just yesterday when I realized that helping them doesn’t have to start in starting our own foundation. I was thinking how can I help if I have nothing.. but it never occurred to me that I am already helping others by giving them hope and updating them about their families and love ones here in the Philippines. I never thought that a little something to share is already a big help for them..

I’ve gained new friends through this time of difficulty and I started to care for them; for how they feel while their love ones struggles in the midst of a disaster; for how lonely they are right now and so worried about their families back home.

And so this coming Saturday, I will try and do my best to reach the location of some of my new friends’ families and love ones. I will try to help them by giving them good news. And though I may not be able to fulfill everyones wish, I will not stop helping others and so to share my blessings.

Hello Lorelei. You do not know me but you have helped me a lot during my darkest hours, not knowing what happened to my children, not being able to help if they need me, not knowing what is going on with my town. I will be honored if you will consider me a friend. Yes, you have helped us in so many ways, more valuable than money. You have given us hope and comfort. May you succeed in your noble work.
