Christmas is here! And so as Enzo in the Christian World!

Enzo had his baptismal yesterday! And we’re all happy that everything was in place. After all the preparation, we finally made it through and made a special baptismal and at the same time family reunion in the house.

Since the ceremony will start at 10AM, we should be at the parish at least an hour before, and well we did arrive early at the place. A lot of people were there already. All ready for the welcoming to Christianity. If only the parish permitted, we’ll be getting a special ceremony, unfortunately the parish do not offer one. So, to sum it up, there are almost 20 babies & kids to be baptized all in all.

Anyway, the ceremony didn’t last long. We immediately headed to the Club House were we have the place rented. It was too early for us to arrive actually, the caterer was still finishing up the setup but it wasn’t a big deal since we get to do some picture taking first.

The setup wasn’t really what I expected. It’s simpler than what have been discussed, but the good thing was.. we all love the food! It was great! Would really recommend Avengoza Catering!

As expected, not because you already had your caterer at a Club House doesn’t mean that guests wouldn’t bother go to the celebrant’s house. Well, after that.. most of the guests (relatives) headed to the house with us. Good thing we’ve prepared some food in the house too. Well it’s Christmas so that’s really expected. As a result, jam packed in the house! Haha!

Merry Christmas to all!

It’s been so long now since the last time I made an entry here. I’m a new mom and so trying all my best to be a good one. After thinking it through, we decided to schedule Enzo’s baptismal on Dec. 24, 2006. And since we’re temporarily staying at my parents house while my mom’s still around, we also decided to do it in the near parish. Family, relatives and friends can at the same time spend their Christmas Eve at the house if they want to.

A lot of things to consider but I was able to work with the invitation first. No theme. Nothing fancy. But since I want the guess to see some of Enzo’s pics, I’ve arranged them in the invitation itself.

As for the souvernirs, I’m into DIY right now. At least 50 pcs. will be ok. A baby in a glass tube with some cotton inside, glitters, etc…

We’ve also decided to just rent the Village East Club House so that we don’t need to prepare the food in the house. Plus the house isn’t that big and having a caterer will make it more crowded. Got Avengoza Catering near the village. I believe they’re not that long in the business but agreeing with the budget, taste of food, and actual setup made me decide immediately.
