This Blissful Life!

After 2 weeks of stay in the hospital and 2 more weeks of rest I was able to give time to other things again. One of it is by doing this to preserve the memory of what happened to us.

It was an unexpected time of giving birth. I was just having my regular monthly prenatal check-ups when the doctor said that I should be giving birth soon since my amniotic fluid is already below normal range. I was asked to decide on the date since inside me is in breech position. We chose November 20.

After lunch, we came back to the hospital as instructed to & meet with my O.B.Gyne. It’s been almost 20 mins before Dr. Santos be able to get his heartbeat. I’m panicky but I’m more concern with my baby. And so it was, the CS has been performed and I gave birth on November 4, 2006.

At exactly 4:45PM, I gave birth to a small baby boy. He was so small & barely breathing. He needs to be at the incubator for almost 2 weeks and he barely finishes 5cc of milk.

After 6 days in Maria Lourdes Maternity Hospital, he was rushed into Makati Medical Hospital. Another 8 days of stay in the hospital. New lab tests and more and more doctors coming. Though every tests are normal, I’m still concerned of him. I’ve never been like that in my life. I pray and I pray hard hoping he’ll be ok.

Thank God he’s all right now. After what he’s been through, I’m happy that God gave me the chance to take care of him.
