Hi guys! I'm making some changes.. please bear with me.. thanks!

Spare Time + Beads = Possible Extra Income

I am one of the many moms who happens to love working with beads and other crafts. Though, I am not that active for so long, I am a beader myself.

Way back on my HS days when I love to accessorized myself, I tend to make my own beaded jewelries. I am no expert compared to others but I was able to make the jewelries I envisioned. I used to make one for my friends too.

Anyway, just about 11 days ago, I decided to relive my past hobby — beading. Again, it’s just for my own personal accessories, which I can make during my spare time, up until I was advised by a friend to sell it anyways… … … * After minutes of realization * … … … “Why not? I think I can make my own and sell it out in the market, just like other beaders do.” It’s not gonna be easy but I think I can work it out, slowly.

So, what’s spare time + beads? A possible extra income for me! :)

Baby Got Back

After a few weeks of non-existence (hehe), I am now back at my original pace..

Been sick for a while.. got a sty in my right eye. I think I was able to share it somehow. But, I’m ok now.

Took care of sick little Enzo too.. He was soooo sick again from Feb.10 to atleast a week after that.. His temperature reached 40° Celsius.. On and Off fever during days and nights. We had to rushed him at the nearest hospital’s ER too.. The verdict after he’s been discharge and tested was a bacterial infection.. But then again during that time we can’t be certain because we’ve seen signs and symptoms of Kawasaki Disease on him. And honestly, I am still into these thoughts. Enzo’s hands and feet started to peel off in large pieces, just last week. It is yet another sign of the disease, which according to my research can’t be prevented….. Well, Enzo’s doing great now! And, I am happy! Very thankful to God that he’s a happy baby boy again!

I miss writing in my so-called blog (hehe). Though I am not a good blogger, I love sharing things here. Sometimes, I am relieved when I write about things that I can’t really talk about in person. Of course, I have friends, but sometimes a stranger can give you a totally good opinion about what you’re experiencing.

I’m Yours..

From LYRICSMODE.COM lyrics archive

I’m Yours [by Jason Mraz]

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you’re so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks, now I’m trying to get back

Before the cool done run out, I’ll be giving it my bestest
And nothing’s going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it’s again my turn to win some or learn some

My Valentine..

My Valentine [by Martina McBride]

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you

If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I’d still feel for you

And even if the sun refuse to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
You’re all i need
My love, my valentine

Painful Sty

My fifth day of having a sty. And another day out of the office..:(

I won’t say that this is unusual to me because as far as my family members (and me) can remember I’ve the same painful sty last year just about the same season. Though I’m not really sure of last year’s cause, now I’m pretty sure it has something to do with stress. Rushing on editing our whole year photos for two days is kind of stressful especially if you’re rushing for the Printing Exhibit, which only happens once a year.

Now, my right eye is still kindly swollen and it really hurts especially if touched. It’s itchy.. It’s red.. And it’s just not normal.. But I’d say that it’s better than yesterday. So, thanks to Cloxacillin and Maxitrol! Hehehe..

Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Chinese New Year (or Spring Festival) is considered one of the most important events in China. It is the first day of the lunar year that marks as Chinese New Year. It falls on late January and early February. For this year, the Chinese New Year falls on January 26; the Year of the Ox.

Chinese people prepares for this holiday by making sure that life is in order or at least under control, like the house should be clean; problems have been resolved, clothes should be clean or new, etc.

Usually, a sticky rice pudding called Nian gao (or tikoy) is present in the feast, as well as dumplings. Nian gao is also given to family and friends, in the belief that the stickiness of the rice pudding will hold the family together. It also brings good fortune and sweetness to one’s life, as to its round shape and sweet taste.

During this time, houses are being decorated with lights and lanterns. Red is also the popular color when celebrating Chinese New Year. There are also lots of musical parades; the most famous of which is the dragon and lion dance. The dragon is the deity of water ensuring that no drought will come. The lion, on the other hand, helps ward off evil spirits since it symbolizes power and courage.

Happy Chinese New Year! :)

Remove Write Protection for DV RS-MMC (Memory Card)

Have you experienced a problem with your RS-MMC (memory card)? Say, you take it out of your mobile phone and decided to use a memory card reader to transfer some photos, mp3s, etc.. because you have no USB cable for your phone and then you get an error message that goes something like this: “The disk is write protected. Remove the write protection or use another card“?

Yeah, well unfortunately for me and to others who have experienced this, it’s actually irritating, especially if you didn’t set any password on it and if it was ok the last time you used it.

Ok, so I’ve tried a lot of things and researched everywhere just to make it work. And I’ve got a lot of inputs too on how to solve this problem..

Best Remedy For Fever

Because Enzo had a high fever for two days, I decided to do some research on what options do i have in lowering a high temperature. Of course, there are things which are very well known to us like taking medicines, drinking lots of water, plenty of rest and using cold towels as a fast-acting remedy to fever. But do you know that aside from TLC (tender loving and care).. Egg Whites by far is the best remedy in lowering a high temperature?
